Looking for an Audi Q8 salvage car?

This page lists the complete stock of damaged Audi Q8s from the car dealers, traders and dismantling companies affiliated with us, in the Netherlands and beyond. So you do not have to trawl dozens of separate used-car sites to find out what is for sale. For an SUV that costs well over €100,000 when new, that overview saves you money straight away. Filter by year of manufacture, engine option or type of damage, and contact the seller of a suitable car yourself.

Which Audi Q8 salvage cars can you expect to find with us?

What you see here is determined by what our partners buy in. The stock therefore shifts from day to day, and not every engine option is available at all times. The Q8 has been on sale since 2018 and received a facelift in 2023; over that period diesels, petrol versions, plug-in hybrids and the sporty SQ8 have been supplied. Which version you come across makes a big difference to the value of a salvage car and to the availability of parts.

Audi Q8 45 TDI and 50 TDI

The diesels make up the lion's share of the Q8s on Dutch roads. The 45 TDI delivers 231 hp and the 50 TDI comes in at 286 hp; both combine a 3.0 V6 with quattro four-wheel drive and a 48-volt mild-hybrid system that lets the car coast smoothly.

Precisely because so many of them are on the road, these are the versions you will come across here most often. Ask for the service book, because with an engine of this calibre a documented history is a substantial part of the value.

Audi Q8 55 TFSI and 60 TFSI e

If you prefer petrol, you end up with the 55 TFSI: a 3.0 V6 with 340 hp. Above that come the plug-in hybrids, with the 60 TFSI e and its 462 hp the most powerful. The latter manages some fifty kilometres on electric power alone and was in demand mainly as a company car.

With a plug-in hybrid it pays to ask about the battery pack. It sits at the rear under the boot floor, so a rear-end collision deserves extra attention here.

Audi SQ8

The SQ8 is the sporty version. Until 2020 it had a 4.0 V8 diesel with 435 hp; after that a 4.0 TFSI with 507 hp took over. Ceramic brakes, a sport differential and 22-inch wheels were on the options list, so the equipment varies widely from car to car.

It turns up less often than the regular Q8. If one does appear, it is usually a car with light damage and a modest mileage.

With an SQ8, bear in mind that the exhaust, brakes and wheels are specific to the model. They are not interchangeable with those of an ordinary Q8 and so account for a large part of the repair costs.

Filter our stock of Audi Q8 salvage cars

We do not keep a fixed stock list. You specify what your Audi Q8 salvage car needs to meet and then see straight away whether there is anything suitable in stock at the moment:

  • Year of manufacture and mileage
  • Engine option: 45 TDI, 50 TDI, 55 TFSI, 60 TFSI e or SQ8
  • Transmission and drivetrain
  • Nature of the damage, from a damaged panel to total loss
  • Asking price and the seller's location

Nothing listed today? The picture may be different next week. Save your search or the link to this page and check back every now and then, so that you can act in time when a partner lists one.

Does a car appeal to you? Then open the advert. In it you will find extensive photos, the full damage description and the details you need to reach the seller directly.

What should you look out for with a damaged Audi Q8?

You assess a large premium-segment SUV on different points from an average family car. Four topics decide whether you are bringing home a bargain or a liability.

Air suspension, chassis and wheels

The Q8 runs on air suspension. Ask, therefore, whether the car still rises to ride height and stays there. A leaking air spring is a manageable job, but a damaged compressor or a faulty rear-axle steering system calls for a specialist with the right diagnostic equipment.

Also look at the wheel rims. Wheels of 21 or 22 inches are easily damaged by contact with the kerb and cost a fortune each.

Bodywork damage on a large SUV

The Q8's panels are large and full of sensors for the driver assistance systems. A new tailgate, a door or a front bumper therefore adds up to a lot, including the recalibration of radar and cameras afterwards. That is exactly why an insurer writes this model off relatively quickly, and that works to your advantage: through our platform the same part comes from a salvage vehicle for a fraction of the new price.

A total loss does not mean beyond repair

Behind that term lies nothing more than a calculation by the insurer: the repair costs come out higher than the car's market value at the time of the loss. With parts of this calibre that threshold is quickly crossed, even when the vehicle is still in perfectly good technical order.

Weigh up for each car whether repair pays off or whether the value lies more in the components: the V6, the eight-speed automatic, the quattro drivetrain, the air suspension or the screens of the MMI system.

Damage history, registration and export

The chassis number lets you bring the damage history to light. Also ask for the inspection reports from the insurer or a recognised repairer and, for a car in this price bracket, for the service book. A complete file makes re-registration and export to Belgium, Germany or Poland considerably easier.

Finally, check the vehicle register for a block. With cars that were previously registered to a business, that prevents delays when the car is transferred into your name.

Reliable dealers for a worry-free purchase

You want to know in advance who you are doing business with. That is why only recognised dealers appear on our platform, affiliated with organisations such as the Vereniging Schadevoertuighandel (VSV) and the Stichting Verzekeringsbureau Voertuigcriminaliteit (VbV). A considerable share of their stock comes directly from insurers, so there is no doubt about where the car has come from.

Every Audi Q8 salvage car on our platform comes with clear photos and detailed specifications. They let you establish in advance whether it stays at cosmetic bodywork damage or whether there is more to it, for example with the air suspension or the drivetrain.

Missing a detail? Then ask the dealer for extra photos of the underside and the wheel arches. On a car with air suspension, such a picture often says more than the damage description itself.

Buy an Audi Q8 salvage car affordably and transparently

You deal directly with the dealer, with no middleman. That keeps prices sharp and the turnaround short, and on top of that a damaged Q8 costs considerably less than a comparable one without damage. What else we offer you:

  • All the current stock of our affiliated companies in one place
  • Engine option, year of manufacture, type of damage and price easily side by side
  • Direct contact with the selling party
  • A straightforward damage description with clear photos for every car
  • Room for both private and trade buyers

Schadeautos.nl: your complete partner for repairing an Audi Q8

Getting a damaged car back on the road usually takes a lot of research. That is why with us you will find not only the vehicle, but also Audi salvage cars and high-quality used car parts for this specific model.

That way the car and the parts come from the same source. It saves you a round of calls to suppliers and, with a model like this, often weeks of waiting for new parts as well.

Do you buy professionally? Then from a single account you keep track of the incoming listings and of the donor vehicles you need for them.

New stock every day & expert service

“Our salvage car dealers are vetted in advance and list their stock continually. As a result, the stock on this page is always up to date and varied: what is not here today may be here tomorrow. With an SUV with this much technology on board, their judgement also carries a lot of weight, because they will tell you exactly what the damage means for the repair costs and the residual value.”

Buying an Audi Q8 salvage car: smart for your budget and for the environment

Repairing a damaged Q8 with second-hand parts saves money and conserves raw materials at the same time. Reusing an existing car simply takes far less material and energy than building a new one.

With an SUV weighing well over 2,200 kilograms, that counts for even more. The large panels, the air suspension and the drivetrain contain a considerable amount of steel, aluminium and electronics. As long as those parts are usable, they belong on another car and not in the shredder. We are glad to support that reuse.

Frequently asked questions about Audi Q8 salvage cars

Is there always an Audi Q8 in your stock?

No. Our stock comes from our affiliated partners and changes daily. So save your search or the link to this page and come back every now and then; as soon as a partner lists a Q8, you will see it there.

Is the air suspension of an Audi Q8 still usable after damage?

That depends on where the impact landed. With bodywork damage to the upper part of the car, the system almost always remains intact. A collision at wheel level or damage to the underside can hit an air spring or the compressor. Ask the seller for detailed photos of the wheel arch and the underside.

What does economic total loss mean for an Audi Q8?

It means that the insurer puts the repair costs higher than the car's market value at the time of the loss. Because the parts of this SUV are expensive, that threshold is reached sooner than with an ordinary family car. It says little about the technical condition; a large proportion of these cars can be repaired perfectly well.

Are parts for the Audi Q8 easy to get hold of?

Yes, because the Q8 shares its platform with, among others, the Audi Q7, the Volkswagen Touareg and the Porsche Cayenne. As a result, a lot of the technology is readily available. For Q8-specific parts such as bumpers, headlights and the tailgate, a salvage vehicle from our stock is usually the quickest way to the right part.

Can I export an Audi Q8 salvage car?

Yes, as long as the export papers and the damage history are in order. If the car is going to Belgium, Germany or Poland, you need the full registration document for a smooth re-registration. Also check beforehand that no block has been placed on the vehicle.

Do you offer a warranty on an Audi Q8 salvage car?

No. As a platform, we bring supply and demand together; the sale itself is handled by the affiliated partner. You therefore agree any warranty terms directly with the dealer offering the car.
