This page brings together everything that our affiliated car dealers, traders and dismantling companies offer in damaged ID. Buzz examples, from the Netherlands and abroad. You therefore look in one place instead of going through dozens of separate used car sites. That helps with a model that is used both as a family people carrier and as a commercial vehicle. Filter by year of manufacture, version or type of damage and, if you are interested, contact the seller yourself.
The stock follows our partners’ buying and changes daily; not every version is listed at all times. The ID. Buzz has been on sale since 2022 and in 2024 gained a larger battery pack and a longer-wheelbase version. It also comes both as a passenger car and as a van. That distinction determines the value and the parts you need.
The five-seat Pro is the version the model started with. It runs on a battery of almost 80 kWh and a rear-mounted motor, which initially delivered 204 hp and later went up to 286 hp. That gives it a range of more than 400 kilometres on the WLTP cycle.
Because this version has sold the most, it is the one you will find here most often. Watch the sliding doors: they are electrically operated and an expensive part when damaged.
Since 2024 there has been a longer version with six or seven seats and a larger battery pack. That car is almost a quarter of a metre longer and is aimed at families and taxi firms. At the top of the range is the GTX, with a second motor on the front axle and four-wheel drive.
These examples have only been on the road for a short time and therefore rarely turn up. When one does, it is usually light collision damage on a car with low mileage.
The Cargo is the van version: an enclosed load area behind a bulkhead, with no windows and no rear seat. Many businesses use it for city delivery runs, where its range is more than adequate.
Commercial vehicles cover a lot of kilometres and therefore pick up damage more often. With a Cargo, check the condition of the load floor and the bulkhead, because they tell you how the van has been used.
With a Cargo, also look at the tie-down points in the floor. If they have been torn out, it has carried heavy loads and the floor itself is due for replacement.
We do not keep fixed lists. You specify what your Volkswagen ID. Buzz salvage car must meet, and you then see straight away whether anything suitable is on offer at the moment:
Nothing found today? In a week the stock may look different. Save your search or the link to this page and check back regularly, and you will not miss it when a partner lists one.
Do you see a suitable car? The listing has detailed photos, the full description of the damage and the seller’s contact details.
A tall, wide electric van calls for its own kind of assessment. Four points determine whether you land a bargain or a liability.
The battery pack lies flat in the floor across the full width of the car. With bodywork damage it therefore stays intact almost every time. Even so, ask for a current state-of-health reading and for the number of charge cycles, especially on a car that has been used for business.
Where the underside is damaged or the vehicle has been on fire, the picture is different. In that case, ask the seller to show first that the pack is undamaged.
The ID. Buzz has large, flat side panels and two sliding doors that open and close electrically. A dent in the side panel is hard to knock out because there is so little contour in it, and a damaged sliding door mechanism is an expensive repair. Through our platform you can get both parts from a salvage vehicle for a fraction of the new price.
The term refers only to a calculation by the insurer: repair costs more than the market value of the vehicle at the time of the loss. With a van that has large panels and a lot of electronics on board, that threshold is reached sooner than with an ordinary passenger car.
Look at each vehicle to see whether repair is viable or whether the value lies more in the components: the battery pack, the electric motor, the charging equipment or the complete interior fit-out.
Start with the VIN, because that brings the damage history into view. Also request the inspection reports from the insurer or an approved repairer and check whether the manufacturer’s warranty on the battery pack is still running. A complete file makes re-registration and export to Belgium, Germany or Poland a good deal more straightforward.
With a Cargo, also check in whose name the vehicle is registered, because a commercial vehicle has its own tax treatment.
You want to know who you are dealing with before you buy. That is why admission to our platform is reserved for approved dealers affiliated with organisations such as the Vereniging Schadevoertuighandel (VSV) and the Stichting Verzekeringsbureau Voertuigcriminaliteit (VbV). Much of their stock comes directly from insurers, so the provenance of the car is clear.
Every Volkswagen ID. Buzz salvage car with us comes with clear photos and detailed specifications. That way you can see in advance whether it is limited to bodywork damage or whether there is more going on, for example around the battery pack or the sliding doors.
If you are missing pictures, ask the dealer for photos of the load floor and the sliding door rails. On a van that has been used for business, those areas tell you the most about how it has been used.
You deal directly with the dealer, with no middleman in between. That saves on the price and on the time the process takes. On top of that, you pay considerably less for an ID. Buzz with damage than for a comparable example without. What else we offer you:
From businesses buying for repair or export to families looking for a spacious electric car: the audience for this model is broad. Is your plan among them?
Getting a salvage car back on the road stands or falls with finding the right parts. That is why we offer more than just the car: on the same platform you will find Volkswagen salvage cars and high-quality used car parts for this specific model.
That way, the vehicle and the parts come from the same place. That saves a round of the suppliers and, with large body parts such as a side panel or a sliding door, a long lead time as well.
Do you buy professionally? Then from a single account you can keep an eye on the incoming stock and the donor vehicles at the same time.
“The dealers in our network go through a selection process beforehand and list their stock on a continuous basis. As a result, the listings on this page stay current and wide-ranging: what is not here today may be added tomorrow. With a vehicle that is driven both privately and for business, their assessment is also valuable, because they tell you exactly what the damage means for repair costs and residual value.”
Doing up a damaged ID. Buzz with used parts saves money and conserves raw materials. After all, reusing an existing car needs far less material than building a new one.
With an electric van of more than two tonnes, that counts for a lot. The battery pack alone accounts for a large part of the environmental impact of the whole vehicle, and the large panels contain a lot of steel and aluminium. As long as those parts are usable, they belong in another van and not in the shredder. We are happy to encourage that reuse.
Do you have a question about one particular Volkswagen ID. Buzz on our platform, for example about the damage history, the condition of the battery pack or how the sliding doors work? Put that question to the dealer offering the car; the dealer can help you fastest.
Their telephone number and email address are to the right of the listing.

No. What is listed here comes from our affiliated partners and changes daily. The model has also only been on the road since 2022, so the number of damaged vehicles is still limited. Save your search or this page and come back to it now and then.
New, yes, because it is a large panel with an electric mechanism and sensors in it. Used is a very different matter. Ask the seller whether the door still runs smoothly and whether the mechanism works without fault messages; that makes a big difference to the repair costs.
It means that, according to the insurer, repair costs more than the van is currently worth. The large panels and the electronics of this van make repairs expensive, so that threshold is reached sooner than you might think. That verdict says nothing about the technical condition.
The drivetrain and the electronics come from the MEB platform, which Volkswagen also uses for the ID.4 and the ID.5, so the supply of those is ample. Body parts are model-specific and harder to find; for those, a salvage vehicle from our stock is generally the fastest way of getting hold of the right part.
Yes, as long as the export documentation and the damage history are complete. For Belgium, Germany or Poland, the full registration document is needed to get the van registered there smoothly. Also check beforehand that there is no block on the car.
No. Our role is to bring supply and demand together; you arrange the sale with the partner offering the car. You therefore agree any warranty terms directly with the dealer.
